S.Jorge Beach

The beach of São Jorge is home to the primitive core of what was once one of the most important commercial appeals of the Northern Madeira.

Some ruins of ancient buildings remain such as department stores, grocery stores, an old sugar cane mills and a beautiful aqueduct. This site invites you to a relaxed ride by its landscape.

Faial Beach

A small cove, situated next to the mouth of Ribeira do Faial, hides the beach of Faial.

There was recently built a pool complex with a wide solarium and is equipped with changing rooms, sanitary facilities, first-aid post, restaurant, snack bar, children's pool and playground. In the surroundings there are still 2 sports fields and parking.
